 This module contains 30 DVD lessons and 12 supplemental lessons (no video). It was designed to follow the “Labeled Quantities” module. In it, the students will master problems like, "3/4 is 2/3 of what?" We will learn to use fractions as ratios to determine which is the better buy, how to convert recipes to serve more or fewer people, and much more. We will also learn how to determine which of two fractions is larger. In this module the student will see the power of fractions to solve various day-to-day problems. This module is designed for 6th through 8th grade, but can be useful for older students that have trouble with fractions.
